Thrillers you MUST read immediately.
Never have I Ever by Joshilyn Jackson | This story took a chapter to get into but then I was hooked. The author keeps you guessing and you could say the narrator was unreliable but it’s what the main chapter truly believes so you’re hooked, needing to piece together the little clues to figure it all out. I will also say this had a darker twist than I was expecting. But damn. I’m still thinking about the story days later.
Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager | Sager is an all time fav so I’m probably biased. This was an earlier work and their style has gotten smoother but the push and pull of what’s real, what’s in her head, what’s a product of being in the woods… it was captivating and I thought I guessed the twist 4 different times and never got it right.
The Liars Beneath by Heather Powell | A dark, romantic YA thriller that does NOT hold back. It definitely focuses on the romance but as the story unfolds, you think you know what’s coming. It’s the authors YA debut and I was sucked in from the start.
The Replacement Wife by Darby Kane | Again, might be biased because I’m obsessed with how the author writes. Short chapters. Hooks. Pebbles of clues that make you doubt yourself. I loved the premise of her brother in law having wife (s?!?) disappear and NO ONE THINKS ITS WEIRD besides her. I flew through her second book because the writing is so delicious.

Pretty Little Wife | Domestic Suspense with an amazing twist. A legit, gasp out loud mumble WTF WTF kind of twist. Darby Kane nailed this story and it was such an easy read (which, is the biggest compliment because I sure as hell know books are hard AF to write)
Lock Every Door | Riley Sager is an AUTO BUY for me. Dark, gritty, edge-of-your-seat twists and turns. I swore I had this book figured out. Jokes on me. I didn't. Another head-exploding into a million pieces moment at the end of this one.
Behind Closed Doors | B. A. Paris is one of the main reasons I wanted to write thrillers. Her utter talent for building characters with LAYERS of depth... this one is one effed up book, but in the best way. When I picture the BEST last lines of a book that stick with you for days, months, years... this is that book. My kryptonite.
